How to put gif. file as blog header

Having animated blog header is an attractive idea. Now, I am going to show you on how to put gif. file in your blog header.

Step 1:

Design any animated blog header and save it as gif. file.

Step 2:

Upload gif. file to photobucket.

If you do not yet have account with photobucket, you can register for free.

Step 3:

Put mouse over the picture, and select and copy Direct Link.



Step 4:

Log in your blogger account, select Layout, click on Edit in Blog Headers.

Step 5:

Select From the web option, and past the Direct Link that you just copy.

You will see the your blog header animated now. Click Save.

Step 6:

Save your layout and view your blog.

Blogger Header - How to put background pattern

Simple color background sometimes may not suite your web blog. A little trick in background often makes your blog even more attractive to the visitor.

Now I am going to show you the sources and how to put background pattern into your blog.



Step 1

Download background pattern for free from the source at the end of this post.

Step 2

Upload the background pattern in your blog post and save this post as draft.

Step 4

In Edit Html of Posting, copy the picture address as shown in example below.



Step 5

Log in your blog, select Layout, and Edit HTML.

Step 6

Scroll down untill body section as show below:



Step 7

We need to add the URL of the background image to the background statement using the following format:

url(the_url_of_your_image)

Now after background: type url and past the picture address.



Step 8

Save your template and view your blog for change.

How to Hide Navbar

1. What is Navbar?

Navbar is the Blogger utility used to ease to log in your Blogger account. This Navbar makes your blog look different from the real website, so some blog owners hide it from their blog.

There are four Navbar themes currently. You can select the one that matches to your blog theme by clicking on option box and Save.



The following is Navbar when you view your blog.



By now, there is no any specific clarification that to hide Navbar is considered as a breach of Term of Service of Blogger. But there are already some Blogger hiding Navbar without any punishment from Blogger.

I don't know about your, but for me I still like keeping this Navbar on the top of my blog. However, if you want to hide it, follow the below easy steps.

2. How to Hide Navbar

a. Sign in your Blogger.
b. Click on Layout.
c. Click on Edit HTML.
d. Copy and past the following code below your blog information.


   #navbar-iframe {
display: none !important;
}


The code will look like this:



e. Click on Save Template and view your blog.

How To Put Picture In Blogger Header

Step 1

Log in your blogger.

Step 2

On Dashboard, click on Layout.



Blogger will direct you to Layout tap. Click on Page Elements.



Step 3

Scroll down to Blog Headers (Header). Click on Edit



Step 4

Blogger will open Configure Header dialogue box. Click on Shrink to fit, and Browse...



Behind title and description: Your picture will be behind the title and description, so title and description still appear on your blog header.

Instead of title and description: Your picture will stand in front of title and description, so the title and description will NOT appear on your blog header.

Step 5

Locate the header picture that you want to put on your blogger header.



Step 6

Blogger will upload your picture. When it completes, click Save.



Step 7

Blogger will return to Layout tap. Click on Save.


View your blog and enjoy the change.
